But there's a difference.
KL selects its best of breed technologies carefully to try to ensure that we find the most capable technologies, that also have the easiest installation and support. This is so that YOU aren't spending your money on expensive consultants and support contracts, but instead getting the best solutions delivered in the most appropriate way.
In order to execute this services strategy across a wide range of technologies, organisations like KL have 2 choices;
1. Hire the technical staff for all the products directly, keep them utilised and trained and ensure that they are billable as much of the time as possible.
2. Outsource the detailed technical staffing to experts in their field and call them in specifically when required.
Whilst there are "bragging rights" associated with the first choice, the reality is that it's expensive and inflexible. These costs and ties to technologies are always passed on to customers.
It is for this reason that with the exception of our core technical team, KL works exceptionally closely with our vendor partners and select consultancies to deliver the most skilled and current capabilities to you WHEN YOU NEED THEM.
This means we are flexible, cost effective and high skilled. It also means that we have no "requirement" to load our proposals with exorbitant consulting costs. In summary then, you get:
